Agreed. My dad wants a bike for leisure rides and a bit of fitness, a hybrid would suit his needs but he wants a mountain bike. If he gets what he wants he is more likely to ride it so fair dos

What stops you covering the "out and about" bike with coats?
Simples that's because you are using it ! It's like the excersise bike here covered in coats etc unloved unused and as far as it goe's from me bl**dy hated lol.

You've obviously never had a Dunlop full suspension!

I sort of agree. The Raleigh Activator was so crap people used to leave the house and go out for a walk so they wouldn't have to look at it.

Agreed, I only had to look at my old Boardman hybrid and I was off out on my Roubaix asap:whistle:

No offence, all you Boardman owners, but it and I just didn't get along at all:unsure:
