It is costing the NHS!
There has been publicity in the last few days regarding costs to the NHS of cycle/tramrail incidents in Edinburgh, over £1 million in the last seven years.

I'm commuting into brum every day now.

It's such a mess, some areas shared cycle/ped paths which pedestrians ignore, 1 way roads and some no go areas for cyclists, then some areas where cyclists have to walk on the paths.

I've just filled in the perry barr route consultation thing, it's terryfying! All 'segregated' (basically shared use with a small bump) cycle lanes from the city out to the mosque so far, then will carry on out to the dogs. I do not like it at all. There's probably 1 section I'd be happy to use, the rest I would hate to have to use, especially as the bus lanes are already pretty good down that way.
