Great result Joe. That wall bracket is some piece of kit too. Did you make that yourself? I thought, "There's something wrong with that picture. That bike looks like it's floating." D'oh!!!

Right. Just got back from the test ride with the new 9 speed set up.
The gears needed no further adjustment and everything run perfectly. The gear changes were super smooth and very accurate. I love it.
The closer gear ratios with the 9 speed block, although not a great deal different than the 8 speed, was quite noticeable particularly from the mid range to the lower gears. Very satisfactory.
Today should have been my day off from riding but it was a short ride. I did push it very hard though and the short sharp workout done me good.
Back to the hybrid for a while now as I work on my fitness and weight loss till I can do my road bike full justice.
I'm a happy chappy.
