One hour 5 mins would normally be 52-56 minutes, at times it was coming at me from all angles got as low as 8mph where I would normally be at 16mph but glad I did it!
The road I motored along this morning was 4 miles of torture. Still all adds to the summer legs!

I certainly felt it this morning. I zig zag to work, so I had sections that where headwind and others which where cross winds.
I've certainly cycled in worse but that doesn't make it any easier when you are out in it.

Tail wind from heaven going to work, cruising at 24 mph.
Coming home, headwind from hell, in first gear and struggling at 10 mph.
Much rather the tail wind going to work, and no rain, so not all bad

That has to be the fastest ride Home I've ever had...bit gusty at the junctions but super fast on the main drags (even the uphill bit at the end of my run)
I even managed to draft a Bus through Catford for about half a mile all the way up to bellingham..I was literally flying whilst hardly even pedalling. I did have a feeling of dread as I turned right into lewisham at the bottom of lewisham hill and was met with a huge gust (this is usually the point at which the last 5 miles becomes a bind) but it turned out to be a small wind tunnel.
