Nice one, I'm out thru Hayfield tomorrow but probably pre lunch. I give Monks Road a wide berth. Too steep and long for me to be enjoyable

It's not enjoyable at all.

I'm on Woodley/Breadbury boarder so it's usually down towards work, but up if I get a weekend ride.

I'm sure you guys are right. It's just that last time we DROVE up there in the turbocharged Crowthermobile SWMBO issued a sort-of challenge. Daft really. I should know better.

Use WD 40 to clean white bar tape !

Sounds strange but it works.

Yes, it'll eventually go a dirty shade of grey, like the bar tape on my relatively new road bike. I wish I knew why they picked white as a bar tape colour!
