Just out for a few post-fettle miles this afternoon....
Straight through a pile of soggy doggy doo doo's!!!

All over the tyres, mech, frame and under the saddle. Damn stuff was everywhere!

Still, the bike needed a good clean up anyway.

we have a dog and i plan to have quite a few (needed for working) when i leave home but i wouldn't dream of leaving dog do's lying about
there's now one path i refuse to walk on as 9 out of 10 times there's at least 3 or 4 dog do's on it, quite frankly disgusting and even more so when you ride/walk through it!

Helmet cam......

Was on the cycle track in Gosport when this dog curled down a good 12 incher

Owner walked away with dog leaving it in the centre of the path
Started a friendly converstaion about dogs,and stroked dog, making sure that helmet cam took in dog tag

THen pointed out to owner that I now had a video of the dog fouling, him walking away and the details of the dog...... and explained that unless he picked it up the video was going to the Council.


Apparently he didn't have a plastic bag....... however I did

Not at al happy but walked back, picked it up and disposed of it


Still sent the video to the Council though, who fined him!

No. All dog owners seem to come it with that, and yet the Sh#te is everywhere. Not just the dogs that are full of the stuff.

Dog doo on knobbly MTB tyres. Nasty stuff, part superglue, part nuclear waste. And when you get that whiff and think..uh-oh, that's not mud. I didn't realise one night, left bike in the shed and when I opened the door next morning....

I was out on a ride the other week along the canal and it made me smile that lots of Mobile Sh*t Machine dog owners were happily swinging a bag of dog poo from their hands!
Tres chic! .
At least they picked it up I suppose, I think I'd have somewhere more subtle to put it!

as in in the last 9 years of owning this dog we have never left shite lying, only on our own land. oh and i don't lie on this one

several reasons why i'd never dare leave dog shite lying about:
1) it's bloody disgusting and a nuisance when you step in it or ride through it
2) one word, neospora! a terrible parasite spread through dog poop that cows mainly and even sheep can easily pick up from dog poo and results in abortions and they build up anti bodies which results in lower milk production. infected stock are normally culled
