Blimey I was caught out.....

Went to work in a pair of windproof (well, if could even call it that) Altura Gloves.

Blimey, I felt it coming home. My fingers were like ice. -3 here at moment.

Also wore 3/4 length bibs so have a lovely red patch from below my knee to the top of my sock.

Oh isn't cycling a wonderful thing!!!

It was turning cold during today; this evening's cycle home was pretty chilly, but my homeward commute is very hilly as I dip into the Peak District to avoid the traffic, so I certainly wasn't cold! The wind was quite strong though, pushed me about a bit on the exposed roads.

Temp really dropped this afternoon. Left at 4.15pm and by 5ish it was freezing. V cold and strong wind. Would be intresting to know what the chill factor was this evening.

Huge lovely bright moon though to light the way tonight- made up for the cold and even the nasty ugly orange street lights and 'rottweiler' insecurity lights folks stick on thier houses these days couldn't take away its beauty.

Washing the bike just now and ice was forming on the parts and i slid on a patch of water turned to ice as i rinsed

It's normally really bad up by the nimmings car park. I try to avoid over most of the winter
