Hi People ,
I purchased a Bmc Slro1 frame module (rim brake ) 6 months ago . I purchased the Ics stem thinking it could be used on this frame but have come to learn it requires the flat disc version tube steerer not the round one . I ve come across a few threads saying this can still be used if the headset was changed and topcone . I have seen some e.g of a rim build with this stem all be it without the full integration of the cables .My Lbs said they don't see how ,as the cable guide cover Has ridges inside and doesn't let a round tube pass through .
Any thoughts on how this can be fitted ? If at all
