BMX Style rear mudguard for Hybrid

Hi

Late 40s newbie here with a late 40s question

I haven't owned a bike since my teens and have just bought a Felt QX65 which should be delivered this week

With all the wet weather we have I am thinking of putting a mudguard on the rear, but only want one of the short BMX style types not the full wrap around style

Would anyone know if these will fit this style of bike

You could try one that clips around the seatpost, not that effective though in my case.
