HI there , I recently purchased the above mentioned bike second hand and have noticed that when pedalling the large cog on the front does not turn in a straight line and seems to move from side to side slightly on the right pedal , I have tighened up both sides pf the crank but the problem is still there could it be the bottom bracket needs replacing , All advice appreciated .

Are all the chain ring bolts present and tight?

After checking the above to determine whether it’s the bottom bracket bearings or a bent chainring hold the crank and pull to to and fro, anything more than a slight movement indicates the bearings are worn or wearing out. If you’re getting a lot of movement that will make chainring look like it’s run out of true. Turn the drive side holding the pedal to check the chainring.
