It's no more expensive than other lubes in the US.
It's just a rip off in the UK.

You need to re-read my post.

As for rip off in UK, I am a UK distributor for a USA company and the cost of importing is getting higher, it is often difficult for me to match the dollar cost out there to a pound over here. That along with the fact that the cost to do business in the UK is high, you cannot have high wages and low prices in most cases.

I sell a clear plastic dome here for £100+vat delivered that I bring in from the USA, now if somebody wants to they can bypass me and buy direct for about $90 plus $180 carriage then import duty, vat and clearance fee.

Yeah & they don't know when it will be available, no reviews from the UK either...

Looks like mineral oils and waxes with some sodium sulfonate surfactant. Possibly some other, unlisted materials at low levels. Nothing to dislike, not sure why it would be so revered though.
