Last minute jobby, this Thursday 06/05/10 - Meet 19:00 at the bandstand Beverley market place?

Friday is my first day back at work & need to be up before 5am

2 1/2 hours to ride 13 miles and have a beer/whisky/vodka/pernod/shandy ought to be enough?

Edit: The pub is 6.5 miles from Beverley, so 13 miles round trip

Not far at all but slightly hilly. The AA route planner puts it at 6 miles. You'd be very welcome to drive straight to the pub and meet us there is that would suit you better.

Sorry, I didn't realise it was such a short ride. I should be ok unless the weather is really foul, although I'll probably drive to Beverley and cycle from there. Is there a good place to leave my van in Beverley?

We normally meet by the Saturday market, so i'll be parking there. Normally safe enough

Thanks Solty. I know Beverley reasonably well, but well enough to not expect to park in the Saturday Market during the day. I never seem to be able to get a space. I assume at that time of evening it should be ok?
