Puzzle game procrastinator!

2 hours riding at a reasonable pace is getting you towards bonking point and you are noticing the tell-tale signs of it coming on.
You haven't actually bonked yet, or you wouldn't be asking questions about it - you'd know!
You need to eat and drink more before you get to that point. As mentioned above - eat something an hour or two before setting off and put something in your drinks to give you a bit of a boost. You don't need full-blown energy drinks - why not just try 2/3 water, 1/3 OJ (or the fruit juice of your choice)?
