Why? AIUI Boris doesn't believe wearing a helmet makes any difference whatsoever and wears one purely to stop people going on about it all the time. In which case it doesn't matter how he wears it. Given that research indicates 96% of cycle helmets are worn incorrectly, he's in good company too.

Blah blah..

Although most people may not wear their helmet correctly, I don't see many sporting one at such a rakish angle that it is actually in danger of impairing their vision..

I am also somewhat intrigued by the red nodules at either side. Are they lights? Horns? Transmitter nodes to the mother ship?

A pair of these Topeak lights?

Have one myself, and I wouldn't recommend it, a bit flakey, White will dim when rear is flashing if on constant, poor battery time, flakey switch affected by several hours in the rain.

I'm not a fan of Boris politically, but he does seem to be a genuinely decent bloke. God knows we could do with more of those.

I'm no fan of his either - in fact, he often appalls me - but his reflexes seem very humane. Plus the fact that he's still pootling around London on a bike, which can't do us everyday cyclists any harm.

Same here, too right-business orientated at the expense of normal workers... but as a man he's shown himself to be willing to lead by example and that is the mark of a true gentleman.

Yeah I'm with you... deep down i think he's a c*ck but... he does appear to do the right (little) thing more often than many others in his profession

Indeed. He's a decent human being, but a horrible politician. He should get out of politics then there would be no reason to dislike him.

Politics aside he seems to be a "thoroughly decent chap" and I like what I see of him. I can't help thinking though, that the word "buffoon" was invented especially for him.

I think someone once described Boris that if he was alive 100 years ago he'd be the thoroughly decent army officer that would then lead his men on a suicidal charge at some germans. I think thats right but it made it me smile

I like boris, he gave me a bike to use when I'm in london

Wouldn't a thoroughly decent army officer wait at least 3 years until war had been declared.:laugh:
