Bottle Cage Mount

Can anyone recommend a device to allow me to mount a bottle cage on my frame? It has no holes to allow direct mounting.

I mount my bottles on the frame, works for me

Do you have a lot of seatpost showing? If so, I'd likely go that route rather than on the handlebars (mine are somewhat crowded)

Seat post is a possibility, but I'm kind of traditional, so will probably want it mounted on the down tube or seat tube.

The bottlefix seems simple. I might go for that.

What are you using right now?

Just on the mounting points on frame...not sure why I bother, never seem to remember to drink much anyhow as I don't cycle big distances

Ah ha.

I got my fixed gear bike on the basis that I wouldn't be going far enough on it to need a drink (commuting and bumming about).

But I've started upping my mileage as I love riding my bike and I sweat like a <something that sweats heavily>, so I need to up my liquid intake without stopping to fish bottles out of my back pack.

Hence my dilemna. The klickbottle looks good. Thanks for the links.

If you aren't that fussed about the slight cosmetic difference the best device is in fact bottle cage bosses fitted to a frame the same as the ones that are missing from yours, you can get this done with no respray.

Drill two holes, fit the rivet-nuts with the correct tool, if you have a good LBS they will be able to do it.

An old bike of mine had no bosses and I used Elite Vip clips, I preferred them to some of the ones posted as they had rubber strap rather than metal clips, hence were more frame friendly, they were also more discrete.

Why dont you just go for a normal bottle cage and use 2-3 or even 4 cable ties and cut ends off and theres a cheap soulation and still looks good
