Option 3...

sell the propel, sell the Roubaix - buy a new Roubaix with UDI2 already on it.

if there is an option that involves getting a new Roubaix, that is the option to take.
Or raffle it on here! 200 tickets at a tenner each, someone gets a bargain, you pretty much your money back. I would buy one!

*EDIT*... obviously if it turns out your brother wins it, you will probably get your house burned down
That's actually a very good idea.,Shaun could do the draw to keep it official like.

In July I bought a Giant Propel Advanced 0, after being dazzled by the Ultegra Di2 and a generous discount.

I'm now finding it much less enjoyable to ride than my Roubaix; the hour test ride didn't really make me appreciate that the Giant is a more demanding bike in terms of rider input.

So I've decided to sell it, wondering if it would make sense to swap the Di2 over with the Ultegra 10 speed on my Roubaix first?

Opinions please....
Can you not just keep it as a weekend ride?
This may be a pointless question, as I am fully cabled! But, will the Di2 battery pack even fit the Roubaix, don't they sit it somewhere bespoke? I am guessing it isn't in the bottle cage like an old set of mountain bike lights I had once

Anyway, sell them both and get what you really want, a Roubaix with leccy shifting.
I think the battery would sit in the seat tube.

Agreed re your last sentence!

Being retired, each day is a weekend day for me!

I'd prefer it to go to a more appreciative home, at my level can't really do it justice.
Fair enough.

I would expect the "complete" bike to be more attractive to buyers, id be a little frustrated if a standard spec was stripped down a bit from what I would expect...usually.

that said, it'll be cheaper for someone to buy.
