I never saw what the production figures were for Gilberns but, as a teenager in the 70s, an Invader was a rare sight, even back then.

Very low numbers were made and considering how few are left they don't make big money. I have always wanted one for the dragon on the grille, plus for a car that is over 50 years old I still think the shape of it looks more modern than it is.

Progress report on the Alpine.

After six months of ownership I decided to trade it in and buy a new one to my own specification.

Pretty much as a daily. We still have the big old Citroen estate for practical reasons.
