I've been meaning to return to Bradford Industrial Museum for the past twenty seven years - my last visit was before parenthood. Today had added impetus - I had intended to go to a Steam Punk event at Leeds Industrial Museum but because of the recent floods it had to relocate to Bradford. There were some interesting characters present:

The incredible thing is, is that it's a free museum that's council funded but donations are welcomed. There's some evidence of the effects of cut backs - they used to have a couple of dray horses but they've been put out to pasture.
It was a wonderful visit and I'll return soon to spend more time in the textile section.
