Hi my front brake lever is much closer to the handle bars in than my rear brake lever. Does anybody know how I can fix this? I have disc brakes and think sometimes the front disc brake is rubbing against he tyre even though the brakes are not pressed

Assuming cable brakes there is an adjuster on the caliper where the cable enters. Screw this anti clockwise to take up the slack on the cable. If it has run out of adjustment undo the clamp bolt on the cable, pinch the caliper arms together, pull the cable taut and redo the bolt. Youtube has loads of videos on this.

The brake pads cannot rub against the tyre, they are nowhere near it.

Hi I got this fixed. I just needed to use an Allen key on a screw on the brake lever.

Thanks for the replies
