Brake question

Ive recently had new brake pads and cable fitted on my marin palisides trail.
The problem i keep having is my brake levers seem to loose there tightness.
Have used the cable adjusters but that just starts scrapeing wheels which are pretty much true.
i often clean rims , pads and other things so don't know what causes this i am a bit of a novice when it comes to fixing bikes.

Sounds like a spongy cable. Take it back to the shop reckon.

I don't know what you mean by "lose tightness". Do you mean the levers are coming too far back to the bars?

No levers have to be pulled back further to lock brakes they still lock fine i just like the levers as tight as possible or i get the fear.

Give the new blocks a while to bed in, then you should be able to adjust the cables and all should be as you like 'em.

Sounds like the cables are stretching? It should stop after a while!

I doubt the cables stretch at all. The blocks are wearing.

To much brake toe-in, poor cable routing, ferrule or noodle not seated properly..
