I'm not sure exactly what the problem was with today's off-road ride, but the front brake was very noisy and totally inefficient.

Also the front mech wouldn't change as sweetly as usual.

The only thing I can put it down to is using imperial mud with metric parts.
That, or I got the torque settings wrong on the upper grunion pins....

Well it was all frozen when I set off, but once it thawed a bit... :blink:

Luckily the hosepipe had thawed out enough to blast the muck off when I got home.
