Ive been on a diet and just about cut bread out.

Doesn't bread last longer the more fat it has in it? I think the 'smart price' type loaves don't contain as much fat. I think it's also a lack of fat that makes some bread fall to pieces.

I've had Hovis Seeded bread that's tasted chemically before.
Don't buy it anymore.

I don't understand all the talk about bread going off. I used to buy a loaf and a block of cheese. 30 minutes later, there would be no bread left to go off!

Hey! I’m not fat
Me and her eat our way through a 400 gm loaf most days. Perhaps the difference is I’ve made our own for 37 years now. Usually whole meal and white for a treat. No Chorley process in our house Candis Marie.
Bread is best stored in a cloth bag at room temperature.
