Now I'm hunrgy! Beats my Sugar Puffs this morning! :blush:

I think it's fair to regard those as an hors d'oeuvre. Especialy on Sunday.

Ok I'm back.

Got to comment on TVC's post regarding our American friends because I think if you want a great cooked brek the good ol' US really gets it right. Without resorting to those weird hash brown thingys you get over here.

Their sausages are rank, the bacon is fatty and cooked to a crisp, they put sweetened cream cheese in the eggs and everything has way too much salt in it.

I know it doesn't count as a real breakfast, but the worst single meal I have ever been served was an "All American Breakfast" on a United Airlines flight, totally inedible. xx(

As a separate point, where does 3BMcG stand on Tartar Sauce?

Whilst I'm generally in agreement with the view that USAnian breakfasts are in the main, carp, a good rib-eye steak and eggs (sunny side up :rolleyes:) is a most excellent way to start the day ....
