Apparently this fella used to tell ladies of his talents as a chat up line, I never found out if it was successful or not.

If could grow a beard I would - when I was a teen all my mates were 'shaving' every day, desperately trying to get their growth going, whereas I realised that I would likely be shaving my whole life so saw no reason to inconvenience myself at such an early age.

I do have regrets though, I recently went to a music festival and being beardless made me stand out like a milkybar in a bath of minstrels.

When it's really cold I wear a Pearl Izumi balaclava.
I know Andrew said he didn't want a balaclava, but this one is very breathable and quite thin, but warm enough. Plus you can pull it down a bit and breath through your nose no problem.

I find that breathing through a buff is manageable if I breath in through the nose and out through the mouth. Glasses don't steam up so much that way.
