Considering oil is heavily used in the production of plastic, rubber and steel then it's a perfect fit. Not to mention the logistics and manufacturing process ^_^
 
Well it's not ideal - but having grand tours that move 100s of people around a country over three weeks isn't ideal either.
I'm sure HSBC weren't exactly clean either.

Although cycling can be seen as an environmentally friendly pastime, professional cycle sport is far from "green".

I'm sure Shell as a brand is fully aware of the risk of relying on fossil fuels.
