I would seem to be from somewhere in the SE, possibly Dover or possibly Dorchester or even Reading...I must be a linguistic chameleon (although most just say I sound posh with a Sarf London twang  )

But it's not surprising.
0-3 Shropshire
3-5 Gloucestershire
5-9 Singapore (Service Children's School)
9-14 Lancashire
14-18 Malta (Service Children's School)
18-21 Salford
21- late 30s - Lancashire

So considering that, it's not bad. The blob around Luton is probably due to language picked up from the mixture of folks you meet in Service Children's Schools.

Interesting. Born and brought up in South Yorkshire before going to university and living in the East Midlands and also married to an East Midlands girl so this represents a good average location:

Bang on! It placed me slightly North of my birthplace, but that's still in it. I've lived some 50 yrs in the centre of the area indicated.

Interesting.
Remarkably accurate!

Lived in London most of my life.
It's found the holiday home on the Isle of Thanet!
Both sets of parents and grandparents were bought up in the Hampshire/Surrey area.
And the wife and her family are from the NE/Essex/Suffolk area

But it's totally missed out on being a regular visitor and sometime resident of Cornwall all my life
