Managed to go over my handle bars chin first into a parked car on my commute home on Tuesday.
Still don't really understand how it could have happened - just too stupid for words really.
Spent three nights in Addenbrooke's and now own some brand new titanium - just not on the bike.
Teeth are in a right state with 4 front bottom ones removed during the op (I can see my dentist rubbing his hands ... kerching!).
That's me on purée meals for six-weeks.
Haven't properly checked the bike yet but I think I might have done a good job protecting it from hitting the car as the front seemed perfectly true as I was standing there thinking I could complete the final six miles spitting out blood and bits of tooth.
On the bright side 6lbs lost already, I can't bite my nails any more, and I think I'll grow a Wiggo-esque beard.
Anyone got recommendations on easy hand opening bike drinks bottles?
