I heard he's now running a cargo bike! due to being unable to fit his weekly sausage ration into a brompton bag.
Actually I hope our friend is well, and reappears soon.
The wurst outcome is we never hear from him again
Presently a choice of 42 gears, with a double on the front. If I reinstated the third chainring it could be 63 gears. Other posters will no doubt have more, especially on trikes. If it works for you, why not?
Oo, plenty of overlap, but that means that you have plenty of scope for going lower on the hub at a standstill if you should happen to stop in too high a gear. In the early days of ownership it spat out a jockey wheel on the road and I was able to shorten the chain and ride it home as a 3 speed. There's plenty of get you home redundancy in the system.
