I was the very last rider away due to assisting a young lady whom I had never met before! (she got her Brompton in a tangle when unfolding at the Le Mans type start).
My black T5 has the 5 speed Sturmey Archer hub. I think that the last if these was made c. 2002 but may well be advised otherwise. The gear reduction means I now have a bottom gear useful for most hills and a 5th gear which I can use on the flat without need of a Force 8 behind me; stronger riders might be frustrated at its max speed though.
