Further question sorry, does that give affect your ability to put power down?
Not at all, it's just enough to give the ride some smoothness. Having said that, I feel it's more of a "touring" saddle than an out-and-out racer, and that's the use I put it to.

I wouldn't put one on my carbon racer, but on the CX "light tourer", it's a perfect match

Dunno whether brixton cycles Has any cheaper left in their 'moving sale' but might be worth giving them a buzz/tweet to find out.

I borrowed one from Richardsons in St Ives (Cambridgeshire) for a few days and, while comfortable, found myself getting a little sore when riding more than 40 miles.

I have found my Brooks Swift to be just as comfortable from the off, but getting even better with break-in. Have now put over a 1000 miles on it and find it superb at all distances. Also firmer than the Cambium.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Sadly, I wasn't chosen to test-ride the new C13, carbon-railed narrow version, but I'd love to have one. Unfortunately it costs € 259.00 = €1 per gram, so I won't be getting one any time soon

I was unaware that Richardsons stocked Brooks, might have to pop in there next time I'm up in St. Ives.

FWIW, a mate of mine has had the Cambium for some time on his Kaffenback and he loves it, but he was a Brooks fan already so he may be biased .

Had another email from Brooks, the standard version of the C13 will be € 200.00, the exclusive 'first batch' was
€ 259.00
- I still won't be getting one yet!
