I have a problem with my Brooks Fler saddle and hope someone can help me.

The nose end of the saddle keeps clicking and twisting over. I assume that this is because the saddle is wearing in and has slackened off quite a bit. I tried to tighten the saddle using the nut, but regardless of which way I turn it nothing happens.

I then thought maybe it is a reverse thread and I have lost a nut where I am pointing.

There is a disc with 2 shoulders under the saddle and this is how it is supposed to sit. But the saddle is so Slack it just keeps falling off the shoulders.

I appreciate any suggestions.

All of mine (3) look different, one looks like yours (the oldest (b17)).

EDIT: 3 being 2 b17's and a team pro.

Well, I've only got 2 but they look the same. There's no second bolt. Yours appears to be at the slackest setting. Turning the nut from right to left (in the picture) should pull the nose forward and tension the saddle. If nothing's happening when you do that, could it be a stripped thread? This seems unlikely given the depth of the thread but I suppose it's not impossible.
