It's a while since we had a "claim to fame" thread, but I've just discovered that I went to school with Siri, and acted alongside him in at least two school plays. To further compound the excitement, his father was head of my faculty at Sheffield and interviewed me for the course.

He was a truly nice guy. I got on well with him as far as I can remember. One of my PCSOs told him that she loved him, and the reply still makes me chuckle.... it was "That's nice. Shall we get on with some work now?"

Possibly true - but @Cubist is by no means an imagined celebrity ... - and he is very real in his own eyes (the mirror never lies ... )
