Front: which side of the derailleur cage is it rubbing against? if limiter screw is not helping, try the barrel adjuster at the left hand shifter. turn it a few times then shift down on the front then back up again. might help at least until you can get the cables properly tuned.

rear: which barrel adjuster did you use, the one at the back of the bike or the one on the right hand shifter?

Ok thanks will try that out, do you think I need to go get them properly tuned at a shop? Its Rubbing against the outside edge of the derailleur cage.

I used the one at the back of the bike for the rear derailleur

Hi all, defy just arrived and its a dream to ride, i have one question though, when i pedal hard the chain seems to slip is this normal ? Or does something need adjusting?
So pleased you like the Defy 3 after recommending it (along with others).

Sounds like stretched cables, they will do this initially, having never been under much tension, a reset by yourself or the shop should sort it.
