I have been following that on the caravan forum, it did not make nice reading for cyclists.

The guy without the helmet on is a lorry driver, he posts on a caravan forum. The support he got was in line with all cyclist should be flattened or wiped out completely.

We had a stage in our lives when a special needs school transport bus needed to stop safely outside our house, and was being prevented from doing so by commuters parking, with all sorts of safety issues for multiple special needs kids.

We put out a couple of traffic cones with a very polite notice explaining why we requested people not to park just there.

One anonymous gentleman took exception, and starting stuffing abusive anonymous notes through our letter box accusing us of assuming that the road belonged to us and informing is that it didn't, plus pointing out multiple character defects on our point.

We carried on putting the cones out on the relevant days.

Someone complained to the police that we were obstructing the highway with our cones, and two PCSOs came to take the cones away.

We invited them in, gave them a cup of tea, explained the situation, and showed them the anonymous notes we'd received.

They agreed with us it was a reasonable assumption that the note-writer to us (anonymous) was the complainant to them (and they knew who that was) and said they would have a word with him about harassment and abuse.

The complaints and notes dried up from that point forward...
He conveniently started the upload after whatever he'd done to upset the cyclist, and also looks to have ended it at a favourable point for him as well.
Is that what they call artistic license.

Because he is a twit.

Park your MTB on his roof !!!

Cul-de-sac person here, but everyone usually parks on drives/outside house. Our neighbour spent a while parking on the visitor space with his van right next to our land, so we had no view from the kitchen. Didn't say owt, but he now parks on the huge paved front area outside his house. He is a bit of a twit, built a massive 'breeze block' 'wendy house' (for his pain in the aris son) in his back garden - we can't see it, but his direct neighbours can. They are furious.

I suspect it was his snotty missus that didn't want his van outside their house. Appart from the fact their extensive block paving is weed ridden.

There is always one. Either ignore, or go in guns blazing. Some folk are nutters and will damage your property though, out of spite.
Did he get planning permission to build it?
