I have to confess I get fed up with my neighbour parking his work van outside my house when he could park it on the other side of the road where he isn't directly outside a house. It makes it very hard to get off my drive safely just because I can't see anything coming, and despite creeping off, some motorists have got stroppy with me pulling out

thought you would get that anyway if you applied?

We have residents parking at 30quid a year..but we still get football parking on mass at weekends ,tho the traffic warden has give our visiters a ticket lol..and never seems to appear when needed..
Yes we are fully entitled

It also helps with the local car boot sale as you can legitimately complain that you are unable to access the local shops as all the pavements are obstructed

Following week over 100 tickets were issued

Still get the muppets though who move the Police "No Parking" cones, drive onto the oavement and then replace

We are now looking st having the size of the CBS reduced and restricted to s lower number of events due to the problems it causes

Invest in one of these and wear it when you make your parking demand. Your irksome neighbour will surrender immediately.

In our close, we all seem to have a gentleman's agreement , that is that we all park in the same place every night. This has been the norm for the last 7 years so why should someone decide to be awkward suddenly?

Because he is a twit.

Park your MTB on his roof !!!

Cul-de-sac person here, but everyone usually parks on drives/outside house. Our neighbour spent a while parking on the visitor space with his van right next to our land, so we had no view from the kitchen. Didn't say owt, but he now parks on the huge paved front area outside his house. He is a bit of a twit, built a massive 'breeze block' 'wendy house' (for his pain in the aris son) in his back garden - we can't see it, but his direct neighbours can. They are furious.

I suspect it was his snotty missus that didn't want his van outside their house. Appart from the fact their extensive block paving is weed ridden.

There is always one. Either ignore, or go in guns blazing. Some folk are nutters and will damage your property though, out of spite.

Ask him! Or ask your wife too if she normally parks there and unless he's an utter **** he'll react better to it coming from a friendly woman, than a het up bloke
Our neighbour at the back (a large alpha male) didn't react at all well to our neighbour at the side (a young woman) phoning to tell him his wall had come down. There was effing and blinding down the phone and all sorts. If he can be like that to a friendly young woman, there is absolutely no point in me (a pretty wimpy bloke) even trying to engage with him about anything. It ended with us paying to have the bit of wall by our garden fixed, and next door just fencing their bit off to hide it so they could sell up and move out.

So yes, there are some utter ****s out there.

It has been there for a while, has not moved and is attracting attention fromlocalteenagerd

Be a response member of Society and report it as stolen.........

Altrnatively put a For Sale sticker on it and report as a roadside sale to the local Council
I've sort of assumed that if it was stolen the owner would have reported it aqs so, which since its still showing up as insured on MID I don't think they have.

It's a public road. You got no more or less right to park on it than anyone else. Get over it.

If you don't like it find somewhere with off road parking. Wouldn't buy or rent a house with on street parking while I own a car.
