You appear to have conducted a reasonable amount of research on the subject AC...

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I can do Mills and Boon in a few short steps:
  1. Woman is not looking for love, has been hurt in the past, swears off men
  2. Man enters above woman's life, he is either mean to her or an ex lover from a relationship that ended badly
  3. Woman is infuriated by everything said man does
  4. Man ignores woman
  5. Woman either catches herself smiling when looking at man, or remembers happier times with him
  6. Something dramatic happens to woman and man is 'there for her' in some way
  7. Woman feels cross for letting herself open up to man
  8. Man ignores woman
  9. Woman ignores man
  10. Something semi-dramatic brings man and woman together in some way and they nearly kiss / embrace / rutt
  11. Woman gets cross with herself for falling for man
  12. Man ignores woman
  13. Woman sees man with another woman and is angry / distraught / randy
  14. Man ignores woman
  15. Woman confronts man over other woman
  16. Man gets indignant
  17. Woman decides it is all over
  18. Man either catches himself smiling when looking at woman, or remembers happier times with her
  19. Man seeks out woman and asks forgiveness for ignoring her, explains other woman
  20. Woman gets indignant
  21. Man gets indignant
  22. Freak occurrence forces man and woman together
  23. Rutting
  24. Happy ending, possibly with more rutting.

Phew, busy day indeed...
Up at 5am, walk dog, get breakfast, drive to work. Today we,re modifying one of two machines, that leaves us vulnerable, orders to meet etc etc.
Three engineers working on mods, I get called to another part of the plant, spend 2 hours slowly getting deeper and deeper into a machine that started with a simple fault.
Back to the mods...grab a break,, get called back to the working machine....it's now broken down. NO packing now, f,kit...inspect the machine, it's sheared the bolts that mount the main drive...we,re now facing four hours work stripping it all back to get to the offending part.
Half way through that, one of the weighters has packed up...inspect that, find its belt pulley has parted company with the gearbox...probably two hours work, that will get seen to tomorrow.

I've stretched, strained, knelt, laid and sworn at a multitude of machines today. I did get breakfast, but that was it, no break since about 10am. I've sanded the skin off my thumb with an electric grinder, taken paracetamol and voltarol for my back which hates everything ive had to do today, and spent one hour hammering the crap out of a crossmember buried in the bowels of the machine, access almost impossible, wondering why it wouldn't budge....only to find there were hidden dowel pins to locate it on.. Oh....temn minutes later, it was off.

You can guarantee if there's a bad time for everything to go wrong....it'll choose that very time.

Home at 7pm.

Engineering.....it's never boring.

Don't forget:
2.5 Williams from Accounts [the one with the red top on who was mysteriously included in the initial scouting group] gets killed.
