I like this one
"kurt barlow, mortgage free BTL investor and imminent offshore resident in tax free country"

Hey, don't let the door slam you on the arse on your way out...

Edited to add:

I backed the wrong horse in this year's Grand National. Who's up for a petition to Number 10 so that Ladbroke's will give me my money back?

What is their problem?
The only thing that has changed is the houses they own are worth less and they may not be able to sell them if they wanted to.
The rental market is very strong ( where do all the people who cannot get a mortgage now live) I have three rental houses and can see no worry with things.
There are a lot of idiots out there who got ripped off with over priced new flats but they did not do their homework and check out the market. They deserve to lose as they were just greedy and stupid.
Agents knew the market would be flooded with new city centre flats and demand for them was limited. They set out to boost their sales by targeting silly home owners with promises of a quick buck if they jump in the btl market.
I have just re-let two houses with no problem. Rent coming in the same - mortgage going out the same. Hope to have them paid off for when I retire. Dont really give a toss what they are worth.
Banks cannot be forced to run up a debt on a devalued asset. If they want stability then they need to offer their own home as securtiy to the btl lender- oh but they will not do that!
After the banks there is a queue of mugs wanting hand outs.
