Buying a decent sausage (ooh erh matron)

I too spent my childhood in Germany these sausages bring back fond memories. Frikandel is available from Lidl, weather they are of Dutch manufacture I don’t know.

Every time I ask about frikandel people say this, but I have hunted Aldi and Lidl and never found them. I did find the German frikadellen which are essentially pork burgers but the Dutch frikandel are skinless pork and beef sausages. I do have a source now, a Dutch food specialist supplier.

I have had VW part number 199 398 500 A delivered by The Sausage Man. It fitted and worked very well.
