Buying a Tube

hi

my tyres says 26x2.00 but i was out today looking at a few bike bits and bobs and not seen a single tube in this size... saw many other sizes, is it a case of i can use a tube in between sizes like 26x1.00 to 26x3.00 or do i have to buy the exact tube. i was only looking for a spare but in a complete novice to cycling, the last time we swapped over a tube was about 15 years ago and i think my dad did most of the work

Inner tubes cover a range of tyre widths, so you'll be looking for something like "26x1.75/2.5", for example LINK

these wont have folds or arched bits in the tube will they?

No they won't have, they should be fine.
