I used to post regularly to uk.rec.cycling under my real name, but gave it up when the noise level from the anti car brigade got too high for me. After a while in the doldrums I came here and havn't strayed.

I first signed up with retrobike when looking at history of my Saracen MTB. There is a specialised "Early Saracen Lovers Anonymous" thread. I still go there but not that often. BR I look at if I need to find a review or a link to a product. I look at "Disreali Gears" for a little rear end porn:tongue:. But since I discovered CC and it's friendly banter I keep coming back:biggrin:.

Started on UC-UK way back before there were such things as boards.

Still running the League's forum, but it's small and quiet. We kind of like it that way. Easy to keep up. I don't really go anywhere near BR any more and the whole ACF debacle left a sour taste. Only popped in here because I was missing Patrick and it occurred to me that maybe I'd find Macleach here -- but hey, Gunner! I was talking about you just the other day! Where's your forum then?

I tried BR for a bit, but it all felt a bit cliquey and earnest...I find things more amenable hereabouts.

I go onto the BR classifieds every now and again, they have a fairly high turnover. I don't really visit anywhere else, mainly due to time constraints!

The whole BR/CC thing was before my time, I've only witnessed one split, though it wasn't very successful...

I was on C+ but joined the exodus. I have looked in on BR about three times since but can never work out how to delete my profile. This place has got the right mixture of daftness and knowledge when you need it.

I frequent Bike Radar and Road Cycling UK for product reviews.

I'm a member of Bike Forums (North American site), though CC is where I spend most of my time.

I was on C+... went on to find out about summat mechanical... I'd just bought a second-hand bike, and it needed some work. I cracked a joke in the caff bit (cakestop?), and was hooked  Went to BR at first, but got flamed for some innocent (albeit innuendo-laden :o) comment, and joined here... I think Arch put a msg on BR about this place.
