I have a Joe Blow track pump at home that is fab.
In What way?
Ultra convenient, quick and easy to use.
Yes, but I prefer my bicycling to be a little less wasteful
In what way is it wasteful?
If you mean the empty cartridges, well they go in the recycling bin.
Yes is does niggle a little, but I offset this (in my mind) that by cycling pretty much everywhere I go, it is a small concession.Yes, but I prefer my bicycling to be a little less wasteful
Just because something can be recycled doesn't mean it isn't permanently using resources/energy. Transport, packaging, melting and manufacturing ain't free.

Mikey, did you say a "beump"?
I read if you use co2 to pump up a tyre when you get home you should deflate the tyre and re inflate with a track pump is this correct?
Yes, as C02 Molecules are much smaller so leak through the tube.
Depends how often you pump them up. If it's before every ride then no need, if it's once a week or once a month then it may be a good idea.I read if you use co2 to pump up a tyre when you get home you should deflate the tyre and re inflate with a track pump is this correct?
So why don't the manufacturers use nitrogen... more plentiful and not as un-pC, or, just air?Yes, as C02 Molecules are much smaller so leak through the tube.
