Just reading a thread about how electric rear wheels can be a bit attritional on spokes.
I once had an old claud butler track bike from the ‘50s that had the spokes tied and soldered at the cross over. This was to stiffen the wheels.
Would the modern equivalent (cable ties) strengthen an electric rear wheel?
