I remember driving mate's one that he had as a company car. It defined the difference for me between road holding and handling. It stuck to the road like the proverbial to a blanket yet was neither fun nor communicative.

I've owned my Peugeot 206 cc now for just over two years.
These last two summers the tops been down most days.
On the hotter days with blazing sun they can get a bit too warm inside to the point you feel uncomfortable.
Years ago before I had one, I always used to think people were crazy driving around on a cold winters day with the top down, but since I've had mine I now "get it"
A crisp cold winters day with clear blue sky there perfectly warm to drive with the top down.
With the side windows up and the heater turned up ,they seem to create a warm pocket of air inside.
Using it a lot with the top down does have it's drawbacks though..
On busy roads the surrounding traffic noise can get annoying.
A noisy car/ bike behind or the trucks coming the opposite way can be irritating.
Also the interior of the car always gets dirty quickly with dust ect.
Would I have another one in the future?
Definitely.. There's nothing better than finding a quiet scenic Welsh road with the sun out and the top down (when the cost of petrol is permitting 🤣,)

@Accy cyclist - that's been on my eBay watch list for a while. Bit pricey. I had a 416 model for a few years and it was decent enough.

@Fastpedaller - decent Quantum's are now getting rare. I keep looking.

Accy - If you want a Quantum the best thing is to contact the Owner's Club. Ones requiring no work don't often get advertised, but any work required will be a lot easier than most cars, and no rust issues. There is a white saloon for sale (I believe it's a good example, and owner is selling for health reasons) - I don't know how much the owner wants, but I can find out if you are seriously interested please pm me.

Thanks for that Fastpedaller, but like I said in my previous post, sadly the car is too big for me, especially when it comes to parking.🙄 I just saw it and admired it. If I was capable of driving such a car I might've taken you up on your offer!😉👍
