If you're determined you can make a ride which just sneaks into the 'hilly' classification for elevation gain per km over a 50-100km ride without looping on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire/Essex borders. It's all in little short sharp climbs though.

I'm intrigued, do you have a route worked out for that?

For round these parts (St. Neots), heading North & West is where the most undulating terrain (I'm not saying hilliest!) generally is. North of Kimbolton & over the A14 but staying west of the A1 is my personal favourite part to ride in. Dead quiet and lovely countryside.

I'll be there, opposite the Corpus clock.
As usual, after having the idea I've been a bit under the weather the last few days.
Hopefully I will feel a bit brighter in the morning.
