Just thing of it as a very long drive

I'm intrigued, do you have a route worked out for that?

No routes worked out per-se. I've just done gradient hunting on the borders & been in the 11-12m/km of elevation gain zone.

I'm keen but I'm limited on weekends. 29th/30th is possible, or 13th/14th Dec are the only available. Another half day ride would be my preference, not that I want to get away from you lot, you understand!

I'll keep an eye on this thread but my weekends are starting to look rather busy (eg. hoping to do @totallyfixed and @dr_pink's Rutland ride on 23/11). So best to assume I can't make it but you may be surprised....

Come over and do our ride, only 50 mins by car from Cambridge to Oakham. We used to live in Cambridge and really enjoyed riding those parts, but as far as country lanes go Rutland is amazing, and with much less traffic too.
