It's a bit fishy, isn't it? The description goes on about a recently-deceased gent rather than the goods for sale, (presumably they're not the same thing) and both the pictures are historical.

Better email the seller with some question which could only be answered if he really had a high-wheeler for sale, or even come straight out and ask for a recent photo.

A 'croggy' (as per eBay entry) is the practice of carrying a passenger on the crossbar or handlebars. Which would be a bit tricky on a high-wheeler.

Hey! I'm from Hull and not in the least bit strange, though I do have to knit my own cycling gloves as no major manufacturer seems to make any with six fingers.

The ebay listing just seemed odd, certainly caught my eye. Almost worth a punt for £20 just to see what it is, bike? The pictures? A 'croggy' on a dead blokes penny farthing? I'm all curious now.
