We're going to a footy afternoon, so I migt see if I can get a pair of these, and secretly revel in wearing their luxuriousness next to my skin as I eat a Maccy Ds in the ground.

Oh, I just saw a thing on Countryfile about the Much Wenlock games. On the medal is the Greek goddess of victory, who apparently will also feature on the London medals.

And the name of this goddess?

Nike, of course.

A source examining "traffic" in social networking, blogs etc associated withteh World Cup and found that 30% of the traffic mentioned Nike whilst official sponsors Adidas and Coca Cola were mentioned at 14% and 11% respectively
