It's not a fault. You've turned on the speed limiter by accident. Faults usually show in yellow or red. There is usually an extra stalk or switch. Quite often, cars can be fitted with a speed limiter as its cheaper than cruise. If you have cruise, you'll usually have both functions.

Not really.Speed limiters are a much more recent addition to cars.

I've been looking at a range rover L322 it has lots of lights in the dash. I quite like the Christmas tree effect.....I think it looks a good buy....🤣🤣🤣

we have an old Vivaro van at work which we thought was knacked as teh ECU had failed... however our ingenuous odd job man had other ideas, he source a non vauxhall one from somewhere and fitted it. Van now runs fine, except every single warning light is on!
I'm wondering if one will go out if it detects a problem?

That's exactly how my Fabia was, and I think that was quite common.

It's probably a wee switch on one of the stalks. On my Fabia it was on the upper face of the indicator stalk.

Interesting info that. I bought a Fabia three weeks ago and it was only reading your post made me go out and check - and hey presto, I've got it too!

There wil be a little switch or toggle on one of the stalks or on its own stalk. What you do normally is say you are in road works at 50 mph, you flick the switch and it stops you going faster. Cruise is similar in that it keeps you at 50 without pressing the accellerator. On my van I have an extra stalk with half a million buttons which I haven't learned about them all yet (fancy adaptive cruise).

All three of the cars we have had which have had cruise control and speed limiter have had the switches for them on the steering wheel, not on stalks.
