What phone do you have exactly, an HTC?

For taking screenshots, what happens if you press the down volume button and the on/off button at the same time - that's how mine takes a screenshot
World Clock & Weather - https://github.com/arminha/worldclockwidget/blob/HEAD/README.rst - you can set the widget background to see-through. Its method to add more locations isn't the simplest, but it can be done: edit an existing city and change long/lat.If it is an HTC widget, can anyone suggest a downloadbale alternative? All I want is something that sits there all the time, without taking over the whole screen.
Thanks - I shall try that. I'm not bothered about other locations. They don't let me out...World Clock & Weather - https://github.com/arminha/worldclockwidget/blob/HEAD/README.rst - you can set the widget background to see-through. They used to let me have a window...Wouldn't it be easier just to look out of a window ( a real window) if you wanted to know what the weather was doing?![]()

Ah I see. That's the other problem you have: finding where your phone is keeping widgets. Can you at least post a picture of your whole phone screen, including any buttons, please? The bottom edge was cut off of the last two. Then someone might recognise it. My default screen looks like thisI'm sure I'm being staggeringly dense here, but I've installed it and set it to London, but I cannot find how to make it show on my home screen. Unh?

It makes an indignant bleeping noise.
Strangely, it doesn't. Just turns the phone off. (I've tried it three times, just in case I was getting the buttons slightly out of time.) But...:Ah OK. The first photo (with HTC on shot) confused me - thought you had a HTC for a little.

so I click the middle circle thing, then swipe left through the pages of apps until I get to pages of widgets, find the widget I want, long-press and the home screen appears, drag the widget (still pressed) into place and drop it.
