I can if you want everything spelt wrong. i have moments when i can but it takes me longer and i don't like it.

There doesn't seem to be any real advantage to being able to touch type if you ask me. Thats my theory and i'm sticking to it

I'm glad I'm not the only person who freaks people out by continuing to type whilst looking at them and talking to them. And getting it right.

My Dad left his computer keyboard with many of the letters now unreadable, so even looking at the keyboard doesn't help.

For quite a while I had a keyboard with very few letters visible as I'd worn them off. It became counter productive as I usually ended up taking dilation from my wife to speed up the completion of her word processing tasks . usually a wordy fax document containing lesson plans for the rare occasions that she was off work ill. I usually ended up being late for work on such occasions.

I bought a new keyboard to get rid of the stress but had some difficulty getting used to the presence of the letters...very odd.

I had a touch typing tutor program that changed the words you had to type just before you got to them. So if you read a line of text and then typed it looking at the keyboard you would get half way and then type a load of rubbish.
